The Author | Joe Mally
Joe is Children’s Pastor, Christ follower, Coffee Connoisseur, and Husband. He has worked in children’s ministry since 2012 and is currently the leads children’s ministry department at Kingsway Christian Church in Indiana. He has a degree in children’s ministry and Bible from Moody Bible Institute and an MA in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Outside of serving in the local church Joe has spoken at conferences and contributed to books about Children’s Ministry. Two of the books he has contributed to are “Inspired: Unlocking Your Creativity” and “Rock Stars: Inspiring a Team of Unstoppable Volunteers“. Ultimately, Joe loves being able to come alongside children and their families and help them grow in their relationship with Christ and he aspires to do this however he can in the years to come.
The Illustrator | Nathan Little
Nathan is an animator with over a decade of experience animating, supervising, and directing on a wide range of children’s TV series. (Iggy Arbuckle, Grossology, Ruby Gloom, Guess with Jess, Sidekick, Detentionaire, and others).
After following a shift in direction that led him to enroll at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago he also completed 4 years of study in Evangelism and Discipleship with a focus on the intersection of art and faith. While enrolled, and unable to fully trade his pencil for books, he began focusing on illustration work and has contributed illustrations to several published books from Moody Publishers and Oxford University Press as well as the SAFE Hearts kid-versation series by Damsel in Defense.
He now lives in Halifax, N.S. with his wife and 3 kids doing freelance animation/illustration work full-time. He is also the artist-in-residence at the historic St. Paul’s Anglican Church where he runs a small community art studio and has his own series for kids on the fruit of the Spirit.
